Two of Kenya's most beautiful Rift Valley lakes, one unhurried three-day journey. This private safari pairs classic wildlife encounters with sweeping landscapes, comfortable lodges and a peaceful lakeside finish, all just a short journey from Nairobi.
Your adventure begins in Lake Nakuru National Park, a sanctuary famed for its flamingos and rich birdlife. On your game drives, look out for both black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and lions. You'll spend the first night at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, set inside the park and overlooking the landscape, so the safari atmosphere stays with you long after the day's drive ends.
Next, you'll travel on to Lake Naivasha and Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. Its landscaped grounds are home to giraffes, zebras and waterbuck that wander freely past your door. Set out on a boat safari across the lake, where hippos and abundant birdlife are often spotted, for a gentler, more tranquil contrast to the drives in Nakuru.
Your safari begins and ends in Nairobi and is operated privately, in a 4×4 safari Land Cruiser, so you can travel at your own pace.

Tour Schedule
Day 1 — Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Pick-up from your Nairobi Hotel/residence in the morning by your Wildtide Safaris driver-guide.
Depart Nairobi in a private customized 4×4 Land Cruiser and drive through the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru National Park.
Enter Lake Nakuru National Park and enjoy a game drive en route to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
Check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge.
Later in the afternoon, head out for an extended game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.
The park is particularly renowned for its populations of black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalos, zebras, waterbucks and abundant birdlife. Lions and leopards are also present, although sightings are never guaranteed.
Return to the lodge before evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 — Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before setting out on a short morning game drive as you make your way towards the park exit.
This final drive gives you another opportunity to spot wildlife and enjoy the scenery of Lake Nakuru National Park, including a stop near the lakeshore to look out for the flamingos that gather around Lake Nakuru.
Thereafter, leave Lake Nakuru and drive to Lake Naivasha.
Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, check in and enjoy lunch at the resort.
In the afternoon, depart for a private boat safari on Lake Naivasha. The experience offers opportunities to see hippos, African fish eagles and a variety of other water birds while enjoying views across the lake.
Return to Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. The resort’s expansive grounds are also frequently visited by wildlife, including giraffes, zebras and waterbuck.

Day 3 — Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.
Spend the morning enjoying the grounds before checking out.
Depart Lake Naivasha and drive back to Nairobi in your private safari Land Cruiser.
Drop-off in Nairobi marks the end of your Wildtide Safaris experience.
