Overview
Famous for its red-dusted elephants and vast, open landscapes, Tsavo East offers a completely different safari experience from Kenya’s greener reserves. This three-day safari combines the park’s wildlife and scenery with a comfortable SGR journey from Nairobi to Voi. You’ll spend two nights at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, overlooking Aruba Dam. Your stay includes full-board accommodation, return transfers from Voi SGR Station and two scheduled shared game drives in 4×4 safari Land Cruisers.

Tour Schedule
Day 1 — Nairobi → Voi → Tsavo East
Depart Nairobi aboard the morning SGR to Voi.
On arrival at Voi SGR Station, you'll be met for your transfer to Ashnil Aruba Lodge in Tsavo East National Park.
Settle into the lodge, enjoy lunch depending on your arrival time, and join the lodge's scheduled safari programme.
Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Day 2 — Tsavo East
After breakfast, continue your safari with a scheduled shared game drive in Tsavo East National Park.
Look out for the park's famous red-dusted elephants alongside lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and other wildlife.
Return to Ashnil Aruba Lodge and spend the rest of the day enjoying the lodge and its setting overlooking Aruba Dam.

Day 3 — Tsavo East → Voi → Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before checking out.
Transfer to Voi SGR Station for your First Class train journey back to Nairobi.
